Oliva Pope from Scandal

Oliva Pope from Scandal

Oliva Pope from Scandal by celebrityclosetcheap

One of the reasons I keep coming back to watch Scandal is Olivia Pope’s wardrobe! It’s classy, chic and feminine and very work appropriate. I choose a look I particularly liked from a few episodes back. Olivia’s been wearing a coat with short sleeves lately, and in one episode she paired it with long gloves and it look fabulous. Olivia also tends to wear bootcut trousers and pretty blouses that usually aren’t solid colors.

Meg from Disney’s Hercules

Disney's Meg
This is classic Disney Megara. She always wears a long, flowing purple dress with a darker purple sash. The detailing on the straps of this dress is also very similar to Meg’s iconic style. Complete the look with gladiator sandals, gold accessories, and a heavy dose of sarcasm.

Disney’s Sleeping Beauty

Disney's Sleeping Beauty
I’m getting close to wrapping up the Disney Princess looks, but before I do, I had to include Aurora from Disney’s Sleeping Beauty. Aurora is one of Disney’s oldest princesses. To wear an updated version of her look, pick a girly dress in her signature shade of pink. This dress from ModCloth.com is convertible! Click on the image of the dress below to see how it can be styled. Pairing the pink dress with heels that have a hint of blue reminds me of the scene where the fairies change her dress back and forth from pink to blue.

Disney’s Snow White

Disney's Snow White
It can be hard to rock primary colors like Disney’s Snow White. So to get her style without looking like a cartoon, pick one main color and add the other two in small doses. I’ve found the best way to do is a blue dress, yellow tights, and touches of red, like the bow headband she always wears. Snow White also has a small bit of white in her look, which you can get with some white jewelry. With so much color going on in the outfit, pick neutral shoes.

Princess Jasmine from Disney’s Aladdin

Disney's Princess Jasmine
This Disney Princess look was my toughest so far, even though Princess Jasmine was always one of my favorites! For my modern interpretation of her look, I chose blue jeans and a blue cropped top. The jeweled blue headband and gold jewelry are the types of accessories Jasmine wears. And the tiger ring is a nice little reminder of Jasmine’s favorite pet, Raja.

Disney's Pocahontas
It’s easy to get Disney Princess Pocahontas’s style! Simply wear a tight, tan one-shouldered dress and throw on a blue necklace. The leaf wrap wring brings in a touch of nature while being chic. Straighten your hair to complete the look. And can you believe these pretty sandals are only $20 at K-Mart?

Belle from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast

Disney's Belle
Princess Belle was always one of my favorite Disney Princesses because I loved to read too. For a Belle inspired, try a yellow dress with ruffles, a gold headband, and a red rose ring to remind you of your Beast. The nerdy accessories like this pocket watch locket and book shaped clutch round out Disney Princess Belle’s look. Buying information below!

Disney’s Cinderella

Disney's Cinderella
Cinderella is one of Disney’s most iconic characters. To channel the ultimate girly princess’s style, a light blue, flirty dress is a must. This one features a modern open back with a cute bow. Also essential to Cinderella’s look is the black choker necklace. Finish the outfit with silver accessories and use blue ribbon to make a headband. To buy anything above, look below!

Ariel from Disney’s The Little Mermaid

Disney's Ariel
For a Little Mermaid inspired outfit, wear a sea-green floaty dress, purple pumps, and if you don’t have flowing, flaming red hair like hers (and who does?), add a red hair bow. Pull the colors together with a neutral brown belt and neutral colored sea-themed accessories, like this starfish necklace and shell clutch. To purchase anything above, look below!

Ashley Davenport from Revenge

Ashley Davenport
Ashley Davenport’s wardrobe from Revenge is young, feminine, and fashion-forward. To highlight her killer legs, she often wears full miniskirts with a loose blouse tucked in. In the first season, she was constantly seen with an iPad to plan her events. Another favorite of Ashley’s? She almost always wears a belt with her outfits. And by outfits, I mean skirts and dresses, because she has worn pants on the show maybe… once? To complete Ashley’s look, don’t forget the high heels!
